Nancy Kovack

Nancy Kovack, a native of Flint in Michigan she was already an University of Michigan student by the age of 15, and a DJ in the amateur circuit at 16 and a graduate of college at the age of 19. The actress had been a winner in eight beauty contests by the time she reached the turn of twenty. Her professional acting career started on television in New York, first as an actress on Jackie Gleason's "Glea Girls" as well as, later and much more frequently, on The Dave Garroway Show (1953), Today (1952) as well as Beat the Clock (1950). Kovack's Hollywood acting career began with a stage role. Kovack signed on for Columbia following the completion of the show. Through the years, Kovack accumulated a long list of TV credits. She was even awarded an Emmy in 1969 for a performance in Mannix. Kovack is the wife of famous maestro Zubin Mehta, of the New York Philharmonic, publicly claims her husband's wife, Susan McDougal a key figure in Whitewater has been a victim of a scam that recently took advantage of her (to an amount of $150,000). Has appeared five times on the situation comedy Bewitched (1964) Three of her appearances portrayed Darrin Stephens' eccentric former girlfriend Sheila Summers. Her father was a senior executive at General Motors. She lives with her husband Zubin Mehta in Los Angeles, California. Graduated from and attended her school, the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan (1954).
